StudyBuilder software provides the ability to design and reuse single and multicentre medical studies by using study design wizards and drag and drop form and process design.
Studies can be designed on computers with Microsoft Windows 95/ 98/ 2000/ 2003/ ME/ NT/ TabletPC/ XP and data collected with virtually any computer including desktop computers, Web browsers, palmtops, smart mobile phones, paper forms and voice response systems with no per site or per study fees to pay.

Program R1: Basic reseller
This program allows you to sell our standard shrink-wrap StudyBuilder Professional Edition and StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition products off the shelf.
You get a discount of up to 40 percent depending on volume.
No advance ordering of product is required to enter the program.
This package is typically suited to mail order distributors and consultants who sell specialty literature or other products.
The package includes:
A reseller enrolment pack with instructions for pulling products from our warehouses for drop shipment to a central location or individually shipped directly to customers by registered mail or courier service.
A reseller CD ROM with promotional leaflets and artwork which can be used to promote the products
A starter pack of printed point of sale materials
To implement this package we will require:
The contact details of an individual in your organisation who will be the liaison between us.
Your organisations’ full legal name, town and country of incorporation or registration including a registration or chamber of commerce number if available.
Promotional literature describing your company.
An estimate of the quantities of product you expect to sell on an annual basis.
Two signed copies of the reseller contract which will be sent to you on receipt of items above from you.
Program R2: Preferred reseller
This program allows you to sell all the products available to the Basic Reseller plus our full range of standard shrink-wrap products including academic products, multimedia training products, shrink-wrap support products, upgrades and books.
Depending on your industry sector, you may be excluded from selling certain products, for example, academic products.
The package includes:
All the features of the Basic Reseller program.
The ability to order limited quantities of stock for you shelves on a ‘sale or return’ basis if in a qualifying industry sector.
Access to co-marketing opportunities such as stand shares at conferences, joint mailings, direct mail to current customers, etc.
Access to sales training courses run at StudyBuilder locations worldwide.
To implement this package we will require:

A one page marketing plan describing how you intend to promote StudyBuilder products and how our products fit with the products and services you currently sell.
Program R3: Value Added Reseller
The Value Added Reseller (VAR) program offers all the benefits of the Preferred Reseller Program with the addition of the ability to offer StudyBuilder certified training, support and consultancy services.
The core business of StudyBuilder is selling shrink-wrap software, however there is significant market demand for training, support and consultancy services.
StudyBuilder has a policy of creating standard support programs in-house while delivering the majority of these programs to customers via VARs.
StudyBuilder delivers a limited number of contracts itself for product development purposes but in general prefers to refer clients requesting on of the standard training, support, or consultancy packages to a VAR in exchange for a finders fee.
Value Added Resellers are free to develop their own custom packages, but these will not be certified by StudyBuilder.
The standard certified packages offered by StudyBuilder to customers include:
- Onsite classroom style training
- Preplanned offsite consultancy
- Preplanned onsite consultancy
- On demand support packages

When a customer wishes to purchase such a service, StudyBuilder will send out a request for proposals (RFP) to supply the contract to the VARs most appropriate for the customer based on geographical location, expertise in the subject field requested and ability to deliver services in a timely manner.
A response to a RFP is required within 48 hours and the customer will be passed directly to the VAR who will finalise the contract.
Where more than one VAR is able to deliver the RFP services, a VAR will be chosen randomly to supply the service to ensure fairness.

A structured training program for VAR personnel who will deliver the services broken down into Basic, Intermediate and Advanced modules.
Each module takes 40 hours of classroom study and 80 hours of self study to complete with 20 hours of annual requalification/updating of skills.
VAR personnel who have passed the Basic course can offer the StudyBuilder Field and Basic onsite training courses to customers as well as basic offsite consultancy (e.g. CRF design).
VAR personnel who have passed the Intermediate module (having first passed the Basic module) can also offer the onsite StudyBuilder Intermediate training course and onsite consultancy services.
VAR personnel who have passed the Advanced course are qualified to supply all standard StudyBuilder training, support and consulting services and can also train others to be StudyBuilder certified VARs subject to final approval by StudyBuilder.
To implement this package we will require:
A list of personnel who wish to be certified now and an estimate of the number of personnel who wish to be certified in the future.
For the StudyBuilder Basic VAR module you will need to purchase one not for resale copy of StudyBuilder Professional Edition at your standard VAR discount and pay travel and accommodation costs to the most appropriate StudyBuilder training centre (currently located in London, Amsterdam, Boston, San Francisco and Tokyo).
You will attend an initial two-day classroom session followed by two one-day classroom sessions four weeks apart with self study time between classroom sessions.
Accelerated programs are possible but not recommended.
Requirements for the StudyBuilder Intermediate VAR module are the same as for the Basic VAR module.
In addition you must have passed the Basic VAR module and purchase an upgrade to StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition.
Requirements of the StudyBuilder Advanced VAR module are the same as for the Intermediate VAR module.
In addition you must have passed the Intermediate VAR module.

Companies with significant expertise in software development are permitted to offer StudyBuilder OEM program products themselves (see separate OEM Program literature) if qualified.
