StudyBuilder Field Edition

StudyBuilder Field Edition is the royalty free² data collection tool deployed and used by investigators and subjects to provide study data. The software runs on desktop computers (DOS, Microsoft Windows 3.1/ 95/ 98/ 2000/ 2003/ ME/ NT/ TabletPC/ XP, Macintosh and Web browsers), palmtops (Psion, PalmPilot, PocketPC, Windows CE) and smart mobile phones (Nokia Communicator).

StudyBuilder Field Edition for PocketPC

StudyBuilder Field Editions are created and configured for your study by StudyBuilder Professional or Enterprise Edition. Investigators and subjects who will collect study data can either enter data directly into the StudyBuilder Field Edition or onto automatically generated paper forms that can then be transcribed into Field Editions later.

StudyBuilder Field Edition for Microsoft Windows 95/ 98/ 2000/ 2003/ ME/ NT/ TabletPC/ XP

Simple to use, featuring the same wizard based interface as StudyBuilder Professional Edition, data is validated as it is entered allowing costly errors to be caught promptly for instant correction. Secure data transport ensures that confidential patient data gets to analysts and monitors quickly and conveniently by email, floppy disk or network connection.

Data can be downloaded via serial, infrared and USB ports on many platforms including the web. Currently supported devices include spirometers, blood glucose meters and more. If we do not currently support a device you require, contact us and we will do our best to add support for you - free of charge!

3. Support for platform is only provided for use in an online/wireless environment with data stored on a central server. This may be because we judge these platforms’ native data storage and/or operating systems insufficiently reliable and/or standard to be suitable for long term clinical data collection and archiving. If you wish to overrule this judgment we may accommodate you on a case-by-case basis at your own risk.
